You are missing the plastic belt guard. #40 in the pic. that is for my 2011 RS, but should be the same. http://www.2wheelpros.com/oem-parts/can-am-guard-belt-rs-std-rs-s-705007213-part.html. Make sure you look it up to make sure it is the same. If you scroll down in that link, it shows all the diagrams for the years and bikes that part number fits.

There was a campaign out a bout that :lecturef_smilie: the stock bolts were too short or something. All should have been found & taking care of by the dealer. You very well may get it for free depending on how dealer & BRP cares can handle it. :lecturef_smilie:

They were installed with capnuts which would vibrate loose.
Check up around the front sprocket to make sure it isn't lodged up there, when they fall off that's where the belt will send it.

1+ on the belt guard bolts.
My guard came loose and was flopping around the belt.
Get longer bolts and use lock washers and decent nuts to secure everything.

This would be for the top bolt in the belt guard. The other holes for this would have had bolts with capnuts.

If you look at a parts diagram, I think you will see that the upper belt guard has no forward bolt, and the forward bolt on the lower belt guard is attached in a different location. I have no idea what that threaded hole is for. Probably for something when that frame is used for another model. The RT-S and RT-L. You have an ST.

That hole is for the rod/linkage going to the air ride switch.
