There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Western Trip - 2018

Headed out next week on my annual western trip. First stop South Dakota, then Wyoming, Utah, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas and back to Georgia. Planning on being gone about a month. Looking forward to visiting many National Parks along the way. Hope to see some of you on the road.

DON'T LAY DOWN UNTIL YOU FALL DOWN.

Been to South Dakota and Wyoming by bike, from Michigan and still want to go west again, hopefully in August. Years ago my neighbor moved to New Mexico. We would fly out there annually and he would pick up
my wife and I at the airport. Lots of sweet roads and scenery out there. Flew out there one year and drove a car home that we bought out there. We took the long way home from Southern New Mexico and into Colorado. Some day im going back there on the bike, dammit.

I know I'm going to enjoy it but I'm sure I'll be ready to get back to Georgia after a month on the road.

Sounds like a great trip, its getting hot here in Arizona, about 95 in Prescott, 105 in Phoenix. Carry lots of water.

Been looking at weather forecasts for that area and saw that it getting quite toasty there but I was told it was a dry heat.:roflblack:

It is - much nicer than riding in swamp heat. But, it'll suck the moisture right outta ya if you're not careful. Cover up all skin and drink constantly (rather than a quart every fillup) if you can.

Yeah, it's a dry heat, so is my oven. Still in AZ, 108 here today, hopefully will be on the road back to SD on Sat. Some good roads and sights to see near the Blackhills are; Badlands, take Hwy 44 E after you get most of the way thru the park. Custer Park, don't miss Needles Hwy, Old Hill City Rd from Hill City to Keystone, Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Nemo Rd from Rapid City out past Nemo and either take Nemo RD to 385 to Deadwood or take Vanocker Canyon to Sturgis. Cook Hwy from Whitewood out to 14a to Deadwood or back to Sturgis, Devils Tower.

It will be much more comfortable than riding back East, especially before the sun rises and after sundown BUT if you are not used to temps above 95 or so or have any compromising health issues you can get into trouble very quickly. Summer is not the time to be sightseeing in the desert. Plan your route so you can stay above 4,000 feet if at all possible and if you must cross the lowland desert do so very early in the morning or after the sun goes down. Also, if you ride the high country at night be aware AZ has elk and mule deer. Colliding with one of those can ruin your day.

Las Vegas!

Get to town, call! We can show you the sights in our little town. We have a few places to eat, stuff to see, and whatnot. Number below! Enjoy your trip!! Joe
