Sounds like a wonderful ride time and miles of different things to see. What day will you start this trip? Please let us know how it goes and any TIPS on doing the trip.
Headed out next week on my annual western trip. First stop South Dakota, then Wyoming, Utah, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas and back to Georgia. Planning on being gone about a month. Looking forward to visiting many National Parks along the way. Hope to see some of you on the road.
DON'T LAY DOWN UNTIL YOU FALL DOWN.
We made a coast to coast trip last year, Massachusetts to California and like you we used the National Parks to guide our travels. The Iron Butt Association has a National Park Tour certificate, if you are so inclined. >>> http://www.ironbutt.com/themerides/npt/
Essentially the NPT is capture 50 parks, memorials, battlefields, in 25 states using the cancellation stamps
Good luck and have a blast and safe trip

Trip is going great. Been to the Badlands, Custer State Park, Crazy Horse and Mount Rushmore. Weather has been good so far. Also not much traffic. Did take a helicopter tour of Rushmore and Carzy Horse. There are a lot of great roads here. Headed to Sturgis and Deadwood tomorrow. More to come
welcome to the Hills! Don’t forget needles hwy and Iron mt road. Good places to eat around there are Sled Haus, Cheyenne Crossing, Lewies... Devils Tower isn’t too far either.
Just curious on your daily travel miles and total miles so far.
