• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Well We're making Progress...

If I'm understanding you correctly, no way we had 15 feet of snow before Christmas in NY. We barely had enough snow in mid december to go snowmobiling. :dontknow:
As I said, "THE last winter I was in New York" President Kennedy declared it a "snow disaster area", at least the area around Watertown.

:opps::opps:Opps my bad. My mom must have dropped me on my head, I understand now.:opps::opps: We sometimes snowmobile on Tug Hill near Watertown.

Hang in there Bob. Good things come to those who wait. Snow patterns are getting crazy. You will probably end up with more than MN this year. The forcast for most of MN, this week, is in the 50's. Way back when it was 40 below zero, and we had to walk to school in 3 feet of snow--that was a different time. My relatives still living there don't think it is too bad currently.

Even the weather channel and NBS news was blaming the weather patterns on global warming trends.

I snowmobiled in Tug Hill 3 times, and will NEVER go back...You put your life in great danger ryding there. To many bars for the Tucker Hibbert wantabees to consume liquid courage and ride like idiots. And the only times Ive been there has been mid week. Cant imagine the weekends:yikes:

Randy and I were just talking about on sat and saying the same thing. Midweek only for me on the hill.

I've been to the Hill a few times myself... It seems that there are 2 States* that have trail systems that basically run from bar to bar... THAT'S why we manage to kill about 20 sledders a season... :gaah:

*Us, and Wisconsin...

And in Wisconsin the state puts in a concrete pad on the asphalt road so the snowmobiles studded tracks won't tear up the asphalt on their way to the bars.

Not good from what I heard, sled season. Bob if you need some help. I'll go shake the bushes. I will see Maryellen tomorrow at a snowmobile banquet.

I feel bad for Bob, because they got his hopes up telling him it would be done in Dec. I knew once sled season got here, everything else stops. They should have known that, and gave him a more realistic time frame. :(

I'm going to at least try to get one more ride in for Bob.

I'm starting to get a bit ...cranky!!

The frame is the the only part (beside front wheel bearings) that I did not change (at least one time) on Silver Dream in 3 1/2 years.

I guess that I'm one-up on you, Doc! :opps:
I'll call them about the middle of next week just to remind them a little bit...:gaah:
