• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Purchased a 14 RT Ltd, Pearl White, today. VIN #1832, build date 23 Jan 14. Accessories ordered include 23" vented windshield, travel cover, pair of soft bags for the saddlebags, HMT light, running/brake converter kit, brake light strobe kit, and rear BRIGHTSIDE lights, mud flap lights (if available from CD), and frunk switch.

Got $18,900 trade in for my 12 RT Ltd with over 26,400 miles on the odometer. Really gonna miss my 12 RT-L but after the test ryde today and how the numbers worked out I just had to get the 14 RT-L. Still don't care much for the engine sound but I'll get over that real quick. Really impressed with the torque and the smoothness of the 6 speed tranny. I rode my 12 a lot, but I think I'll be doing more ryding on the 14. Look out Spyderfest, Owners Event (maybe), Spyderquest, Spyders in the Smokies, and visiting sisters in Florida, Tennessee, and Utah, etc, etc.

Hoping to to pick her up around the middle of next week...can't wait. Pictures next week as soon as I get her home.

Congrats, looking forward to seeing it at the next SRAOD meeting.

I believe that you made a good move and will enjoy the 14 very much, the motor sound takes a little while to get used to but everything else is great.
