• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Weatherman is giving out strong thunderstorms with large hail and wind for the next two days. My head is hard but I'm not sure it is that hard. I'll re-evaluate the weather in the morning to see if I can get a break between the lines of thunderstorms.:banghead: This stinks!!!

I feel ya!! Storms are coming strong now so hopefully it will weaken in the morning...:bowdown:

I live in Southeast MO and the flooding here is bad. My house has a moat around it...

I talked to my wife about Spyderfest tonight (04/25). We are still planning on going although the drive home tonight was some of the worst I have seen, and I was in my 4x4.

Not sure if we will chance riding the Spyder over, but our plans are still to go even if we have to go on 4 wheels. Kinda defeats the whole experience though. Debating on pulling a trailer. I just hate the fact that the weather has been so over-the-top bad.

This is our first event and I was really looking forward to the what, up to now, would be the longest trip we had made on the Spyder.

Yeah, Spyders in the Smokies last fall was my first event and it was a great time meeting and riding with other spyder owners so I was/am looking forward to Spyderfest since I can't go to the owners event. Hope you have a good time either way you go.

I hope the storms weaken. Just put on my zumo today and took an eighty mile trip to test it out now I might get to use it to go to Oxford for dinner Saturday if I don't get to go to Spyderfest.:gaah:

Just use your GPS and a good weather app and you can rock thru or around the rain-----you can do it!:2thumbs:

I'll check the weather in the morning but now tornado sirens are going crazy and the storm hasn't even made it to Tupelo.

Sorry to say I just cancelled my reservations at motel 6. Sever weather is being forecast all day here and most of the way to Missouri. Hope all of you have a good time while I'm trying to figure out how to make the owners event.

Sorry you can't make it, all the bad weathers out of the area here and it's sunny and warm rains over and we are set to party!!! There is no flooding in our area at all. Looking forward to seeing everyone, should have great weather for the rest of the week!!!!

I understand your concerns, but you have given up too soon. :(Here in the Memphis area the storms have passed and it seems to have a break to leave today. ;) We are finishing packing and heading out to St. Louis.

You will be missed. But there is always Maggie Valley.:2thumbs:

I am getting ready to head for Dayton and meet up with some other Ohio Spyder Ryders. I think the weather will be OK...scattered Thunderstorms.
Ride from Dayton to Cuba might not be too bad.
See y'all Wed afternoon.

That's the spyderlover spirit I know and love! Ryde on!!!:2thumbs: I'm seeing good forcast all over the country! And it's set to be a good week, and were still really 48 hours from the main party getting started!

There's another front coming through there. :( It's fine if you can get in and out behind the storms but in front of them... they have done a real number.

Don't give up !

Dodge em' if you can....It seems that those strong fronts go thru as fast as they come in .... Don't give up ! The weather is breaking and would like to see you at SpyderFest !!
