Today is 01/01/2022, a whole new year is starting out.
I would like to invite everyone who is a weather news person to post up your local area weather.
I have enjoyed reading weather news from all over the world.

Saturday New Years Day

:chat: Indiana has received lots of rain this morning and more on the Way. There is talk about flooding issues for the people who are near rivers and steam.The Officials are know saying that you need to move to higher ground.

Currently 57°F and foggy. High today only 50°F with some rain. Lows of 25°F and more Rain.

A little cooler here in Southern Minnesota. -10 f now , with a high of -4 today! Winter is here! Great for the ice fishing, we have about 8 inches of ice on the lakes.

2021 left the desert S.W. with a vengeance. It was cloudy with intermittent rain showers all day yesterday. This morning at 3AM it was raining so hard it woke me up. But when the sun came up for the first time in 2020 it was clear with a few distant clouds. Today it will be sunny, cool, and windy. The high will only get into the low 50s. The wind makes it the kind of day that chills to the bone. I have changed my plans for today. Decided to kick back, make myself a big brunch, light up the electric fireplace, and maybe watch a little football. Happy New Year everybody and stay safe..... Jim

Starting the year with 54 and cloudy. We are at the tail end of a weather system that is headed back to TN and KY. So far, just rain.

Rainy day, so I started the year out just relaxing.

I am in the Apex/Cary,NC area. We had mid to upper 70's today (broke record of 76). Tonight and tomorrow is supposed to be rain and around 70. But get this, the rain tomorrow night is going to end as snow Monday morning. Yep, we are still living in strange times. lol!

A big shock today. Woke up to 18 degrees. With wind chill, they said -5. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. The small mountains are frosted, but we have no snow or ice on the roads.

Rest of the week, mid 40's. Thursday 26. The roller coaster ride is on. :yes:

Overcast most of the day 58 F. I did take the Spyder out for a ride to the store.

Darth is all covered for the winter. Eight below zero last night with a high of 8° here in Nebraska. Last week in the 60s and 70s. Now, snow is on the ground so it’s time to give it a break and look forward to warmer weather.

Well, today we have tornado warnings, high wind warnings, flood warnings, thunderstorm warnings, and now snow and sleet warnings. All of this is happening within a span of 8 hours. Welcome to 2022.

Another overcast day 31F for a high today. Working on setting up my trailer so I can load the Spyder on it and take it with me when I go to FL at the end of the week.

Monday

It has been a very cloudy day and cooler weather. Currently 27°F. There was frost on the truck windshield and a very lite dusting of snow on the ground.

A good day to relax and enjoy some indoor time.
Time to take the Christmas decorations down and put them away.

Tuesday

Welcome to Indiana and clear skies, currently 21°F. The cold weather is here to stay till Spring.

I will try and finish up some indoor projects. The wife asked for several more over the holidays. Got to Love her, she is a keeper.

High today 37°F, low 30°F.

Good Morning to you. Indiana is currently 37°F with clear skies. No rain or snow in the forecast.

Going to a little windy today, 25 mph and gusts 35 to 45 mph. As my mom used to say 'hold on to your horses'. ..:yes:

High of 39°F with some sunshine, low of 12°F.

Snow Report: NONE

BRRRRRR!!!!

Here in the desert S.W. it has been sunny and very pleasant the last couple of days. It does get chilly at night with lows in the lower 40s. The next 5 or 6 days we will have highs in the low 70s. Tomorrow I'm going on a group ride into the mountains. Not real high, just up to 5,000 feet. But I do plan to wear my winter goose down parka. Little to no wind and 70 degree temperatures make for some great winter outdoor activities. Stay safe..... Jim

Cold here also. Reached 40 today, but the chilling NW breeze made it feel like 20. Going down to the real teens tonight and will be lucky tomorrow to see high twenties. So far, no snow. Still have green grass, but it has stopped growing. Snow to two inches about 100 miles north of here.

Here in Northern Nevada the ice and snow melted this past few days.
Temp in the 50's and roads are dry. Truly a change from last week's blizzards and road closures.
Today I was able to ride 82 miles just to keep in saddle shape.

:gaah: Indiana weather has turned very cold for the next few days. Currently 12°F.
With the wind chill it feels like 1°F.
A sure sign that Winter is here and will stay a little while longer. .... :banghead:
