There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. WATCH Coach Teaches His Athletes How Not To Disrespect The National Anthem

About not disrespecting the national anthem

Very good message that more should hear; too bad that most of the people that sing the anthem make it sound like some honky tonk ballad!!! It is rare now a days to hear the anthem sung as the music was written, at the correct tempo, no dramatic lengthening of the words; without all the "artistic" interpretation.

I still get chills and goose bumps every time I have heard it sung and presented correct to form.

Call me old fashioned; Al

Now THAT'S an educator! Shame he wasn't able to get the same message across to the singer, though :lecturef_smilie:

Anthem

The interpretation of what America means to each an every one of us is different, There is no way to just sing a song and it come out the same way every time, If it does I think that would take away what this country is all about in the first place. Out differences is what make this country strong . So if an artist puts his spin on a song the meaning is still the same, We are all in this together.

I agree 100%. Sing it correctly. The "artists interpretation" is BS. Stop trying to make it your own. It's not. MHO...

Hope this coach keeps it up. He should get coach of the year.

The difference is some are singing it just to be heard and others are singing it because they mean it.
While this is not the most perfect singing of the anthem, I love watching some of the players moved to tears as she sings because she is singing it with feeling and conviction.
JMHO

Couldn't agree more!! Well put. I hate it when people try to make it their own version, and end up butchering it to death....just like this clown did in this video. That was horrible...I hope he doesn't sing it regularly..LOL... Great lesson for those guys. Good to see a leader telling it like it should be.
