• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Warming Up

Also, remember back in the 2-stroke days? You'd stick a piston without warmup and flogging it cold...lol.

I DO remember that!
I had a race-built engine in my 1992 Polaris XCR 440 (turned into a 520).
It needed to be up to full operating temperatures before you dared to grab any throttle... nojoke

I will wait till the RPM's drop to 900 before I take off. That's only a minute after I start the Spyder.
I noticed there wasn't that awful clunking sound when putting it in gear if I wait.

Bingo I'm with you on this one my friend.

Well I shot out a little earlier today. I didn't wait for the bar but still gave it a good minute. Old habits die hard.

I messed up my Yamaha 80cc one lunger that way. No one told me, was my first bike, and since it was a year old when purchased, the dealer could not find the owners manual. No, they would not fix it on their dime. :roflblack:
