• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Making up my wish list of add-ons if I buy the '16 RTL; trying to understand the entertainment/comm system. I figure the AM/FM Entertainment system integrates the Garmin 660 GPS, albeit through the speaker system. Like my old Stratoliner, I plan on linking my Droid phone (connected to trunk 12v power) to the Bluetooth on the Garmin 660 GPS and link my I-Pod (music) to the Apple connector in the trunk. I would also like to get the Sena 20s Helmet Comms so rider and passenger can have intercom and listen to everything, i.e., AM/FM or I-Pod music, and GPS info. The salesman stated I do not need the Sena SM10 Dongle since I have the Garmin GPS and its Bluetooth. Comments?

All the BRP Bluetooth Dongle allows you to do is listen to your radio through your bluetooth headset. Your Sena 20s will allow you to hear your GPS, Ipod, phone and passenger... just not your am/fm radio. I had the bluetooth dongle on my 2013 RTL and 2014 RTL and once I knew it worked, never used it.

Another Question

I was wondering if anyone that has the entertainment with CB and 590 GPS with wired helmets, has been able to answer there phone through the GPS? I got a call once and could hear the other end but they didn't hear me..... Never tried it since....
