• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Picking up my first Ryker in about an hour and have been seeing a bit of videos on youtube about vss mode and it got me wondering how common it really is.

around 24T miles now - never saw a VSS code .. do not change or add anything on the original cables thats the problem of most of the faults !!!

It's not really an " ERROR ", it will appear as a safety warning .... When you drive the Ryker or Spyder at the limits ... it can and does appear while TURNING .... If the spyder/ ryker gets a bit sideways on Hard acceleration ... it can appear ... Both machines were designed to keep you safe .... It's normal .....JMHO ..... Mike

Blueknight911, Mike is right, VSS is your angel on your shoulder, often called "the Nanny", if you are a spirited driver, you'll see those vss warnings often, not a bad thing.
Nanny wil adapt to your drivingskills overtime, so those vss warnings should be become less.... but when you drive like a Numbnut, the nanny will reduce power...
Learn to drive the Ryker, it will need a few miles, It took me around a thousand miles to be comfortable on my F3s, just read the forum, there is a sticky bout how to drive your ryker

Mike (bleuknight911), has often stated, Drive it like you drive your car, and you'll be fine.
It took me quite some time, to understand that you must let the spyder/ryker do the turning, at first I found that it was a very ehm "twisty"experience, once I found the sweet spot, on turning, then the bike rewarded me, with a very pleasant driving experience

Since then, I made quite a few changes to the machine, and now even fast bikes, are amazed, how well the spyder can keep up, specially in the twisties.

Enjoy your Ryker, get used to the bike, then start changing things... don't start with upgrades, untill you are comfortable right out the box..

my two cents
