• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Well......had my friend ship me his bike yesterday.............got here....looked great.....started it up..sounded great.....went a few blocks and got so many alerts.....VSS....Check DPS...went into Limp home mode....

pulled fuese.......looked good......even got a new battery...same thing......
my friend was for a loss of words....said it was running perfectly...

maybe when it was shipped....shipper hit a back sensor by wheel when it was strapped??

read turn it off and on 4 times. to clear....same thing......getting towed to dealer on Tuesday..

a bit frustrating......hoping it is an easy fix.....have to get bike inspected anyway,,,,,,

Sounds like the rear wheel speed sensor was damaged. Happened to me on my F3 and all sorts of error messages appeared as well as the limp home mode.
Dealer replace it and all was well with the Spyder world after that!

I hope yours is an easy fix.

UPDATE:::

Turns out I had a missing bolt by the rear caliper that had made the wheel out of alignment which set off the sensors and alarms!!

Replaced bolt and realigned wheel and all is good in the Spyder world!!
