• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Vibrating plastic panels

I am trying to track down the source of vibration and buzzing of the plastic body panels on my Rally model. Ideally I would like to hear more of the motor and less of the cacophony of plastic parts. Anyone have success in identifying the offending parts and either fixing them in place or padding them to they cant buzz? I did find an inner panel on the left side that had some play and used a piece of wadded up aluminum foil to stop the movement but other places linger.

Please don't get me wrong; I am not BRP bashing. I just want to make my riding experience as good as it can be. and yes, I do wear hearing protection when I ride.

You could install low density foam(like weather strip foam) anywhere you suspicion there to be a contact problem. as always >just, thinking out loud

That is my long range plan. I am just trying to locate likely spots to start before I take all the body panels off. No point in over-complicating it if someone else has already found some likely locations.

I found a few panels not installed properly when removing some to do the sway bar upgrade. Idiots at the dealership I'm sure.
