There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

We are planning on starting to advertise here again at some point. It is very hard to start up a new company and have enough funds to cover everything and pay advertising fees unless you pass that on to your customers, which I don't like doing.
Lamont has been very understanding and we have really tried to abide by his guidelines and mostly been successful.

The vendor list is somewhat smaller from the peak days but these are all Spyder vendors and you won't find a more targeted group for vendors or an easier place for owners to find recommend vendors.
Some vendors have been dropped because of owner feedback and some have asked to be sponsors here and have been denied because of their business practices or poor quality product. If they are hostile to the owners here or this site or events that are sponsored here they will not be allowed to promote their product on this site. I think we do a pretty good job of having good vendors here and like vendors play nice to each other. That's what we ask and require. We also watch out for companies that try to bypass the rules and promote without being a sponsor. That's not fair to those who do support the site. Some vendors have been banned for that reason.
We encourage good vendors and dealers to join the family. Our rates are more than fair and less than half of what other sites charge. If you have a dealer or vendor you're really happy with have them contact us and we'll take a look at them and see if they are a good fit for us. It's not about numbers as it is about good product and customer service. :doorag:
