• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Vanity Plates

My vanity plate reads "My RV" I had it on my 1800 Gold Wing and transferred it to my 2014 RTL. I figured I'd never own any other RV as my husband doesn't like camping other than "Holiday Inn"

Sandie in
Louisburg, NC

One of the most clever vanity plates I've ever seen belonged to an OB/GYN physician, who owned an S-class Mercedes Benz.

His license plate ??

"STORK II".

Got mine on ... but I dont think I posted it here...

NOTW

No secret ... but if you know ... you know.

Happy New Year to all!!!!

My Spyder plate

My Spyder plate is not a vanity plate but the one I was issued by the DMV when I bought the Spyder in July 2020.
It reads ( HG-6YA ) nothing special except my initials are AYH. I took this as a sign it was meant to be my Spyder.
I see no need for a vanity plate when I was given one to start with. :ohyea:   :yes:20210417_112638-1-1.jpg

Sometimes folks are too clever with their vanity plates, and no one understands what they are supposed to mean. A friend, who is a dentist, had "DR4DK" which no one ever seemed to figure out until he told them it was "Doctor for decay". My son had an Infinity and got the license plate "1 DIV 0", i.e. 1 divided by zero equals infinity. I almost bought a vanity plate for my Goldwing, and now I am glad I didn't bother since the plate was transferred to the Spyder.

If I was ever going to needlessly expend funds on a vanity plate I would go for "JUST ME"! My initials are ME and it would be intended to be a poke at all those who use their plates to say, "Look who I am!"

:dontknow: If you want to SAVE money and have your plate personalized, You could change your name to fit the public issued plate!

For some reason, our cars never have, but all our bikes get names. Didn't want to go to the expense of a vanity plate every few years, so got on the interwebz and got a vanity license plate frame. Much cheaper that a plate and never expires.
