There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Used RT prices???

While I'm not advocating using Craigslist, here are some prices for used RT's

2012 RT SM5 $17990
2010 RTS SM5 $20995
2011 RTS SM5 $18750
2012 RTS SE5 $24399

Are these prices typical? The 2010, for instance seems high to me. What with some dealers trying to sell 2013's for several thousand dollars off, what do you think? :chat:

RE: 2010 RTS: I so wish. :roflblack::roflblack: I just re-visited kbb and saw $18,135 for the RTS and $18,455 for the RTS premier edition--which I have. These are all for SE5. The SM5 should be about $1,500 LESS. Trade in is running ballpark $14,000. Forget the accessories :(:(

When you can buy NEW 2013 RT-S SE5 for 19,200 I think those asking prices are wishful thinking.

17k for a 12
15k for a 11

SM5 in and RT is hard to sell and at least 1500 less than above.

June 2013, I paid $16.5K for a RT-S fully loaded used with 450 miles on it and an extended warranty! Basically it was new.
I shopped for used for about 2 months to find that deal on craigslist.

Those prices are still high in my opinion. Sorry but it's the truth. It's all about finding a motivated seller. It use to be a sellers market but since mid last year that flipped. My opinion....

Now ready for this! How about a trade in value on a 2010 RT-S fully loaded with less than 12K miles, below $10K?
That is someone I know that did a trade in on a 2014 and that's all he got!

You can ask say $18K for a 2012 but doesn't mean you will get it... 2013 believe it or not, might be worse if the buyer does their research.....

There is the truth of the matter.
FYI LTD owners will even be worse! The premium paid for a Limited won't hold up on the used market. Heck the premium paid for a LTD new, is way over priced for what you get. In my opinion. Don't expect that to hold up in the used market.

Even for the price I paid for my 2011 used, I would not take $10K for a trade in on a 2014 at $28K.
That would mean I would pay MORE than I paid for the price of admission less than 1 year ago....
My 2011 is worth more to me than that and no way in hell would I even sell it for less than I paid for it at this time!
Thus she's a keeper :)

Simple truth is.... TODAY it's a buyers market and sorry but that's the story from my perspective having been there...
For those asking those prices.... I wish them luck but remember..."that's what they are asking.. It does mean what they will get!"

Wow! The part about $10K for a 2010 with less than 12K miles--that is a slick application of the six foot long golden shaft for sure. The person really wanted the 2014 bad in this case. I bet the dealer is going to make a minimum $4K profit on the trades resale--or better.

Bob,you know my old song and dance. My better (smarter) half still think's it's too much money for toy. I've contemplated going back to work part time. Unfortunately, I have a health issue that may hold me back. I have spinal stenosis. It's pretty painful, but I'm dealing with it. I was mildly belly achin' today about still wanting a Spyder. The answer was still the same. LOL Oh well, I still love this forum. A 2015 black ST- SE5 would be nice. :D

Remind her that she's already pretty enough for you; she can forego the beauty shop foolishness!
The money saved... into the :spyder2: fund!!
