• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Urgent help - first oil change

I feel like a fool. I've done everything except pour the oil. Now I ask myself a question. Where do I pour the oil? I check a few videos. The only thing they say is ... at the end pour the oil. Doesn't say where. I assume it is thru the dipstick tube but since I haven't seen anything to confirm that, I prefer to ask and look silly than to do it and be sorry.

Anyone can help?

thanks

I don't see a fool. I see a rider smart enough to ask a question instead of making an expensive mistake. I use a transmission funnel.

You are much better off than those who guess. If you want to guess, play the lottery. At least you know what you are risking and how low your chances are of getting it right. Guessing with your Spyder, you have no idea what you are risking or your chances of success. Finding out the hard way is no fun. It's a lot better to just ask. This is one of the real strong points of our Spyderlovers forum.

Ladies are much smarter than men in this respect. They don't seem to have any problem asking. Me! I never ask! Maybe I should take my own advise! But the old adage; 'Advise is much easier to give than to take' still holds true.
