Update on overheating

After the fan and fuse problem yesterday. today I installed a temperature gauge. Was very simple job. This is what I found out. The fan came on at 210* "5 bars". Ran until the needle dropped to 190* "4 bars". Really didn't know where to put the gauge. After some thought, I installed it on the right side. Behind the rad in that void just before the scoop/air deflector for the fan. I don't need to see the gauge all the time now because, I know what the bars and temp are. And I do have all sizes of extra fuses. Make sure you get extra fuse for the rear fuse block because they are fuses of another kind.:2thumbs:

A bit different.

Thanks for the directions to the other site. For anyone interested, Ken at Evolzione reports the following correlation of bars to temps:
1 = 153 deg
2 = 171 deg
3 = 183 deg
4 = 207 deg
5 = 223 deg
6 = 230 deg
7 = 237 deg

Certainly not linear.
