• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Unbelievable Story

In 1992 Peter Davies was on vacation in Kenya after graduation from Northwestern University.
On a hike through the bush, He came across a young bull Elephant standing with one leg raised in the air.
The Elephant seemed distressed, So Peter approached it very carefully. He got down on one knee,
He inspected the Elephants foot, And found a large piece of wood deeply embedded in it.

As carefully and as gently as he could, Peter worked the wood out with his knife, After which the Elephant
gingerly put down it's foot. The Elephant turned to face Peter, And with a rather curious look on it's face,
Stared at Peter for several tense moments. Peter stood frozen, Thinking of nothing else but being trampled.
Eventually the Elephant trumpeted loudly, Turned around and walked away.

Peter never forgot that Elephant or the events of that day.

Twenty years later, Peter was walking though the Chicago Zoo with his teenage son. As they approached
the Elephant enclosure, One of the Elephant's turned and walked over to near where Peter was standing.
The large bull Elephant stared at Peter, Lifted it's front foot off the ground, Then put it down.
The Elephant did that several times then trumpeted loudly, All the while staring at Peter.

Remembering the encounter in 1992, Peter could not help wondering if this was the same Elephant.
Peter summoned up his courage, Climbed over the railing, And made his way into the enclosure.
He walked right up to the Elephant and stared back in wonder.

The Elephant trumpeted again, Wrapped its trunk around one of Peters legs and slammed him against
the railing, Killing Peter instantly.

Probably wasn't the same Elephant.!

That's so wrong. :lecturef_smilie: This is the Christmas season. Didn't see that one coming. :yikes:

Maybe the elephant was mad because Peter saved his life, only to become a prisoner in a zoo in a foreign country with no chance of ever seeing his family again.
