• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hi all,
Have noticed that one of the pegs (plastic pins ) that hold the middle panel on is split, the one that is slightly bent, have managed to remove this and will glue the split, can a new replacement be bought.
If S Can anyone out there give me a part number?.
Going to see if the lathe turning at work can make a replacement in stainless.
cheers .

See your local dealer.

Highly unlikely that stainless will work, as those pins are designed to expand and contract as they are being pushed IN or OUT.

Any dealer that does much Spyder work at all should have them on hand all the time.

The tamper resistant ones can be replaced. We have done it, I think we bought them from the dealer, so they should be available elsewhere.

I believe he is asking about the "non removable" prong...
Not sure that can even be replaced, couldn't find anything on the parts diagram...

Oops. Those are molded as part of larger plastic panels and would not be available by themselves.
Sorry that I helped the discussion take a wrong turn.

I went a different route ...I Hated those fittings, so I removed mine, and switched to Screws ….. First I pop riveted some thick soft plastic disks where the Grommets were , then I removed the plastic things , then I put the panel back on and held it there and drilled small holes into the NEW plastic disks …. Yes I have to use a screw driver to open the Panel, and a have a small power one that works great. …...…… I did something similar to lower front panels that POP off …… never gonna loose one now .......
