• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Trying to guess horsepower

Saw the new decal from Pete on the HP highlight with the Rotax... I want to put a decal to put on the side of my RS, what is your best guess at the HP rating with a Hindle exhaust, 0-2 modifier, K&N filter, Ron's performance plugs & wires...I'd really hate to put a decal on my machine that doesn't accurately reflect it's performance..

Stop trying to guess just guess..!!:roflblack: 106 is your starting point. Did a search finding that the consenses of opinion is 2/3 hp's with air filters etc. So round up like most do (not brp) to 110 hp's...:dontknow:
 
Most likely 108-109 so 110 is about right. Keep in mind HP will vary depending at what rpm you are at. If you are at the peak engine power rpm range then you get the most HP if not you get less. Each bike is different dependent on equipment and age etc.
 
If it's anything like a snowmobile...... Factory is 106hp so with your mods you're probably a solid 95hp:roflblack::roflblack: But it sounds like 150hp
 
Do like most do, Put a loud exhaust on that should be Good for at least 50 more horsepower' That is if you figure in the annoyance factor; ie, Its louder so it must have more HP......:roflblack:
 
I'm just going to add the "Rotax powered" stickers that come standard on the 2013s... Let the uninitiated guess about the horsepower! :shocked:
 
I think I'm going to order decals that say 499 H.P. If people give me crap about it, I'll tell them it's built in Canada and those are Canadian horses!!! :roflblack:
