• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

trunk liner

anyone have a trunk liner? I got one for christmas present (early from my parents):D

question is mine is different from the pictures on the can am website. In the middle they show a pocket and I have a big flap to get to the manual. I thought I read somwhere that someone had one that they couldnt get to the manual. Are they making them differnt now?

Do I have the old version or the new version?

Bythey way it REALLY dresses up the trunk and I LOVE IT. Love the looks and functionality of havin the pockets.

Doesnt fit like a perfect glove but with my high standards...its acceptable

The one with the flap is the same one I have. The owners manual sits in its pocket behind the flap. I didn't have any problem getting to that. Now the toolkit, that is another story. I have resorted to letting the toolkit ride on the bottom of the trunk liner for now.

:congrats: I also like the liner a lot. The little net pockets are a great place to keep your registration and insurance card as well.

I dont have a problem getting to the manual or the tool kit. I do agree the tool kit is a little harder to get to but definately managable.

net pockets hold my wallet, flashlight, lighter, cell phone, helmet cleaner and cigs. Its much better than them bouncing around on the bottom

I just wonder if its a new design or an old design being its not like the one on the website.

I also like the way the 12volt outlet fits perfectly.

I also forgot about the 12 volt outlet.

From looking at the current picture for the RS Accessories on the BRP site, I would say that we have the older version. My flap in the center section is nothing like the one shown in the picture either.

love the liner probably to much money for what it is but still very handy.
yes it is kind of hard to get to the tools but if you are like me they are for emergency use only when i work on it at home i use my good tools for ease and speed.

Does anyone have any pictures of their trunk linear installed and able to share on the forum?

Seems like a neat addition on the Spyder, however, if one has a backpack, I guess it would be required?

Thanks
Cheers.

Here is a link to the BRP web site page with information and pictures of the trunk liner installed. They also sell a rolling suitcase that will fit perfectly in the trunk, but I haven't found a reason to try one of those out yet.

Spyderwolf: Thanks for the note. I checked out the site, it looks very cool, but maybe a little highly priced. Is that bungee cords at the bottom of the trunk, attached to the linear that can be used to secure items in the trunk?

johnandginer:
I put the tool kit in the very small compartment under backrest (behind back of seat ),use trunk liner for other things

I didn't know there was a storage area under the passenger BRP backrest?

Cheers guys.

They are little stretch cords, but they don't stretch that much. I am sure you could use bungee cords with them though.

Probably not "officially", but I had been noticing that both the cover for the sport rack and the back rest itself fit the same and leave a small cavity in there. I was thinking cell phone maybe, but like the idea of the tool kit as well.

Actually, it is official. The rear "storage" area is an advertised feature of the sport rack.

Really? Guess I didn't read the advertisements on it. Just bought it because My Lady needed a seat back.
