Tri-Axis Handlebars DO work.

I have just completed the installation of the Tri-Axis Adjustable handlebars on my wife's 2014 ST LTD. There was only one slight modification necessary. The plastic shroud on the underside of the handlebars had two holes that didn't line up on the new bars. That was a two minute fix by drilling two new holes 1/4" away. It's nothing that will ever be seen either. My wife loves them!

If you follow the directions it is pretty straight forward. It's still over a 6 hour installation though.

I have to echo ann on that, I am tall as well and I find them adjusted a bit different than position of the standard bars, my wife is short and that's a completely different setting. We will put them on her spyder next year when we get it, so no matter who drives everybody is happy.

What is different about them? Looking at the first picture I don't notice much difference. Are they adjusted back toward the rider more?

I am only5'8" and fit the ST fairly comfortably (I think). Please fill in the gaps.

Tri-Axis on 2014 STS

A big shout out to Broward Motor Sports in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Their technician Tommy re-engineered my wife's 2014 STS and it now has the tri-axis adjustable handlebars.
I am going to do this on my 2014 STS in a couple of months.
This had never been done in their shop but they figured it out:clap::clap::clap:

i can now sit in the right place and have as much bend in my elbows as I like, it adjusts beautifully.

still have to install the zumo 660 gps - the extra gps mount for the tri axis says it is for zumo 590 and I think they use a different mount. Clues welcome.

I mounted a standard garmin on my tri axis. Just drilled a hole
Iin the suction cup on the window mount and mounted it in the screw hole under the rubber cap on the top of the bars. Save guite a few hundred dollars. Was able to use a bolt that wasn't needed from reinstall of thr tri axis bars. Looks good, not hacked.

Thanks for the GPS info. In the end we got the angle grinder to the old mount, drilled a hole, and its all good. Cheers
