• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Transmission problems

Has anyone else experienced A hard knocking when placing the Se5 Transmission into Reverse not just the usual clunk when going into gear I mean 5 or 6 hard knocks also since this has happened I have also had the tranny chatter in first gear and I have to shift into neutral to get it to stop This also seams to happen when bike goes into limp mode. Which may be caused by My headlight relays going out and putting bike into limp mode

any help out there would be greatly appreciated, the bike is in the shop right now but the tech working on it is very young and I'm not sure he will find the cause, I'm also having problems with my head light relays going out and he seems to just want to replace relays and not find the underlying cause

I have been without my Spyder now for 4 days and It's killing me, Thank you for any help

It sounds like you made the right decision taking it to the shop. Mine always makes a solid klunk when engaging Reverse--but several klunks are not right. Let us know what happens.

Received a call from service manager today. And was told that they had found the problems I'm having is caused by a bad throttle body and have ordered one and is being shipped. Next problem is part being hung up in customs could delay receiving part. Didn't know we had a problem with shipments from Canada with customs. will have to wait and see.

I have experienced the muti-clunk; feels like the belt is skipping on the front sprocket dance with mine too! I pulled up the codes and it also showed a throttle body issue...(P1614)
I've kept riding while waiting for a new tire... this'll get me to one trip to the dealer for the throttle body issue, a tire change and oil and filters too! WHEW!!
