• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

No light on dashboard in reverse and no clunk to reverse

My 2021 RT does not show reverse on the dash, also the clunk that it makes is not there. (goes in reverse some times ) I called the shop and the soonest they can get it in is the first of MAY. I think (hope) it may be the part. The bike shifts ok and downshift fine. To make matters worse it is out of warranty by 20 days. I am glad it happened now and not on the RT 66 ride.

Well, all things considered, only a two week wait this time of year, is not bad. Unless you've seen anything else wonky about the functions of the left hand handlebar switch, it's most commonly the reverse actuator. Failing or some corrosion under the boot. Pretty exposed under there. The problem for working on it yourself, is just getting the machine up high enough to get access to it, without pulling off panels. Just the actuator is around 65 bucks, and another 30 for the cable. or maybe it comes as a complete assembly. Plus labor. Not too bad for an out of pocket expense. Good Luck. Have a great trip. Get your kicks.

The Actuator is what I am hoping it is. When I called the dealer to see if they had one in stock , they did not. So I hope it does not take long for the bike to get fixed since it is not under warranty and I have to pay for it.
