good day all i need some help, i have an 09 RS SE5 got it with 2300 miles on it last August (14) it now has 4900 miles on it. i have had no problems with it till this weekend. I installed HID lights in the head lights and fog lights ( direct plug and play) while I was in the garage installing ans testing each part of the install, i had to move the bike and it would not shift into gear 1st or rev. finished the install checked my connections and anything that i may have knocked loose everything secure. started it up looks great it shifted went for a ride all good. Monday rode to work got MSG on dash check transmission and the check Eng light was on, it shifted fine no problems. Went to parked at work no reverse, checked the oil level it was at the right level. When I left to go home started it up fine went to take off and as soon as I turned the throttle it sputtered and would not move it creeped but no go. cycles the engine on and off a few times same issue. once while it was running i had turned on the fog lights and it stalled, so I disconnected the headlights and restarted the bike and it worked, rode home on the fog lights but I still have a check transmission MSG it shifted fine. My question is will the power requirements of the HID's cause this to happen and is there any thing that can be done other than going back to stock lighting. Is the system that critical of voltage.
