• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Trailering a F3L

I recently acquired a nice 7' x 12' trailer to haul my scoot around
if ever the need arose. So, how do you safely tie down a F3L
so that it does not move around and I do not tear up something?
Feel free to jump in here with any and all experience/opinions

Strap through the rear wheel to the back, use pad. A strap off frame or A frame to each front corner. Use ractchet type strap, not the push and release type. Never haul the Spyder backwards! Bad on windshields and gets water in all the wrong places. Roll on!

additional straps

You can also use tie downs to keep the bike from moving side to side as the trailer bounces. I used to just strap it down back to front, now I add additional straps from each front wheel to a hardpoint on the same side to prevent lateral movement on the trailer.

10mm eye S/S eye nuts for the front for tie downs or towing is the best way.:clap:
