If I wanted to drag my soon to be 2010 RT-S on a trailer, what length/width trailer will I need. I currently have a motorcycle specific trailer and it is useless for hauling stuff from a home improvement center or garden center so would like a universal trailer with short sides.

I ryde her everywhere but from what I have seen a 12'x 6' works. Wheels on trailers dictate forward mount or backwards. If backwards wise to remove the windsheild when transporting distances...:thumbup:

I would recommend a 7 x 12 if it is enclosed.

I buy and sell motorcycles occasionally with my business and have never trailered my bike anywhere. Just want the utility of being able to trailer a trike but more important something that can be used to haul bags of cement or lumber from Lowes to the property. My current trailer small and has 3 rails for dirt bikes or one larger bike and you can't haul anything else. Little usefulness. If I buy a new trailer, might as well be able to haul anything I want it to haul.
