• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Trailer to tow RT Limited behind motorhome

I was interested in what type trailers people are using to tow their RT? ( I know, it's blasphemy to tow them instead of riding them but this is our house pulling it.);)

We use a 8x20ft. enclosed for our two RTs. For a single spyder it needs to be at least 7ft door opening or ramp and 10 foot bed length.

Trailer To Tow

We have a 7X12 Cargo Craft Trailer for towing the Spyder. Will use it to bring the Spyder to Spyderfest 2013.

I tow with a truck, and not an RV, but when we do (seldom) we use our 7'x12' V-nose R&R enclosed trailer.

Check out IronHorse Trailers. Julie is great to deal with. I purchased the enclosed trailer and I'm having it painted to match my Kodiac brown King Ranch.

We've got a toyhauler so we haven't had to use our 7 x 10 V-nose enclosed trailer when we've been traveling with one Spyder. Now that we've got two Spyders Ed is planning on towing the trailer behind the RV. I haven't talked him into driving the RV while I ride the Spyder. I don't know why...maybe it was the part about wearing his motorcycle helmet inside the RV so we could talk through the headsets that got him to balk at the idea. :dontknow:

How is Mr. Ed doing, I think he should wear his helmet and let you ride he could pretend he's in a jet plane.:roflblack:

If your planning on towing a car and a spyder I seen one on this site awhile back. I'll see if I can find it. Here it is. I think this is what I'll get when I get one.

THanks lyonsden for posting my picture. If you also want your car along, this is the way to go. I couldn't see pulling a 20+ ft box trailer behind a 40ft motorhome so this works. Have put on almost 15000 miles in the past 2years. Well worth it. Just my hu;)mble opinion.

It looks like the way to go for us. I know we will still want a car along when we retire and travel full time.
