• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I am going to sell my 4.6x8 trailer since its too narrow to hold thr Spyder. Hoping to get $900, but may have to settle for less.

A dealer up north sells a Steel 6.5x12 trailer with gate (2990gvw) for about $1295. Wood pressure treated decks.

He also sells an Alumnum 6.5x12 (2990gvw) with rear gate and wood pressure treated deck for about $2050.

He sels another all aluminum same as above but with all aluminum deck for $2560.

Technically any will do for what I need... towing the Spyder, bringin yard waste to the dump, helps friends and family with moves, furnature pickup, etc.
Please tell me your opinions of pro/con for each. Which should I get?

I would go with one of the aluminum trailers if the money is not as issue. I have a steel trailer(7 x 14) and it really sucks on the gas milage. I would have bought an aluminum if I had the option. I cringe when I go to hook up my trailer these days.:)

The more Aluminum, the lighter it is and the less it will rust or rot.

Get as much Aluminum as you can afford. Its worth the money in gas not used and longevity.

Just my opinion.....:D

I've got a Cargomate 7 by 10 bt 6 1/2 steel, knocks 10 mpg off my truck, with just Spydee in it! But with the RV AC unit, and some other camp gear, I can park the truck, ryde Spydee, and live in it.

I ended up going with the All Aluminum 6.5x12 with ramp, side rails, full fenders, alloy/aluminum wheels for $2500. This thing is SOOOO light that I don't even need to use the the truck to back it into the side yard. I can just LIFT it by hand!

Construction is very nice. The Steel ones were the Angle Iron bracket kind. Cheap but heavy. The other Aluminum was 6.5x10 with wood deck.

I tend to always choose top of the line so as not to get angry for not getting feature I wanted.
