• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

THE BOLTS THING

The front is 20" wider than the back. 6 bolts - I must check into this. Thanks!

edit - 6 bolts might not be so doable at a campsite, but thanks anyway.
Actually there are 8 bolts but I use 6......The frunk is really supported by two very large sturdy HOOKS that protrude from the frame at the top edge of the frunk....there are four bolts across the top....I only use two because they are the ones that are easily accessible, the other two aren't.....The two under the frunk edge can be accessed if your Spyder is driven up onto doubled 2 X 4's , once you know where they are you can find them by feel....The other two bolts are on the Frunk wings at the ends , you pop off the side panels to expose them....takes about 15 minutes...........Mike :bbq:

I have the identical 26 RR model and can load my RT-S either forward or backward. I just used the existing hold downs and tied though the wheels.

Thank you - Thank you - Thank You. A picture is worth a thousand tape readings. Because of Levodopa, I'll be able to take the little bikes (Vstrom-FZ07) for a couple of years (I hope) but that won't last forever, and I'll go back to needing the Spyder. Again, Thanks for the picture. Chuck

Fine, I'll bite, Bob...
