• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Tools Needed for SpyderPop's Mods

I just finished installing my SpyderPops "missing stuff" and wanted to give a heads up on a few tools you'll need beyond the standard stuff. The Air Management System requires a rivet gun and something to cut a square out of the bottom plate (plastic). I used a cheap $10 rivet gun from Home Depot and made the hole with a Dremel cutting wheel. I am sure you can make the cut another way but be aware of the need.

All things considered the install went pretty good. I am a bit nervous about the belt guard- wondering if it could warp, break or vibrate its way into the belts path causing a problem. It seems secure but...

I also added a Triple Play, wiring to power my iPhone and changed to a high flow filter while I had the Spyder stripped down. I didn't get to setting up my JuiceBox or putting my anti-vibration bars back- I need to cut a few inches off the insert rods because of the new Easy Riders.

Not enough time!

Can you help with my question regarding the air mgt. system?

The MBG is angled in such a way that direction wise it doesn't catch neither the spinning of the tire or the traveling of the belt. It might rub a little here or there but unless the glue comes loose, its not in the way of anything. Really quiet nicely designed IMO. I got lucky and managed to fit the guard perfectly between the belt and tire.
