• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Too hot to handle

A very interesting "turn around" from the norm. So far, I have rode my :spyder2: in temps all the way up to 75 degrees. :roflblack:

Yeah but it's a dry heat. 115 out west is way more tolerable than 95 in Fla with the humidity. Still.. it's like sticking your head in an oven instead of a sauna.

Jerbear & Midlifecrisis:

I was down that way during December. Found temps in the low 30's in Vegas, and Zion Park, UT. They even got 8-12 inches of snow up on Mt. Charlston. I nearly froze to death on my visit. :roflblack::roflblack:

Yes sirre, the 'high desert' can get really cold (not as common in the low desert). In fact, when I was stationed at Eddies Air Patch (Edwards AFB)which is considered high desert, we actually got snow that winter. Brrrrrr :roflblack:

You, the Alaskan, nearly froze:roflblack::roflblack:. I was born late,,,,but not that late.:roflblack::joke:

Up north here i have learned by wearing a mesh jacket in warm weather it actually traps air in side of the jacket keeping me cooler longer however i don't know if this will work with the high humidity of florida.

I'm in Texas but it was 80 degrees today. The temp is fine with a short sleeve shirt under my motorcycle jacket without the winter lining but at a stop light it is bacon frying temperature. I may invest in one of those jackets that is thin mesh everywhere except where the protective material is(shoulders, back, elbows, chest, ribs). It's only April.

Mosquito trap

I can only think what a great mosquito trap a mesh jacket would be ryding thru the Everglades.
The mosquitoes are soo thick here that you need a windshield wiper on your face shield. You have to cover your mouth with a bandana too keep them from getting between your teeth.
