• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

While at the "Dragon" 3 weeks ago. Stopped in the shop to buy "the shirt". Guy on a Harley drops his bike right along side of me. Hurts his leg and can't even help raise his bike. Another guy helping us raise the bike was his riding buddy. He yells over to his injured friend, "that's the second time today you dropped the f ing thing. Get a trike already"! :roflblack: He couldn't pick up his 900lb. bike. Butt, he was riding it. :roflblack:  Tom :spyder:

I see just as many can am clowns wearing all their can am garb too....

Some of you really need to get over yourselves...[emoji106]

I totally agree! Take a good look at yourselves. Here we are a bunch of mostly over the hill geezers that love to bash other brands. Continuous "Harley Bashing" is kind of like the pot calling the kettle black. I really think it has to be jealousy. Why else would you even waste your time putting someone else down.

Hi Jack,
You are correct; of course!
I prefer to respond with respect for the other guy; until I am insulted by their actions...
That's when things can get... "interesting!" :D
By and large; Harley riders have been very kind and supportive of my choice.
As have GoldWing riders...
And BMW owners...
cruisers of all brands...
And dual-purpose types too!
The only really negative comments that I heard or saw, were from a kid on a Yamaha 600cc sportbike...

So I guess you are the to "cool" spyder rider starting a thread about leaving the turn signal on? [emoji57]
I hear ya, Doug. But IMHO, Doc has a valid, and interesting, point. As everyone knows, there is that certain class of Harley riders that go way out of their way not to acknowledge anyone they consider not to be riding a "real bike". Some go to such great lengths to do it, it makes 'em look downright silly. There aren't as many of these guys riding these days as their used to be, but we've all seen them. Sometimes, when I encounter one of those guys I find myself chuckling a bit, like Doc did. Mostly I just ignore 'em back.

So, what are you folks going to say about someone like me when I put my "clown" suit on?

I drive a First Gear. :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:

A person cannot make someone else do something. Only thing you can do is take the higher moral road. I didn't chide this guy or make fun of him. I waited plenty long for him to figure out it was on by himself before telling him. It might be possible I might have saved some cager from turning in front of him down the way thinking he was turning. Might have saved his life....never know. Thing is, I would do the same thing again even knowing the outcome. That what makes me me. I do stuff like that all the time. Just like waving. I am acknowledging them and the ryde. If they choose to not wave back, that's on them, not me...

For a bunch of "rugged individualists" some of you have a very small tolerance for the choices of other riders. The general public can't make the very basic distinctions between an outlaw club and an HRCA chapter, but we're busy dividing ourselves over black leather vests and logo shirts while our right to ride is being eroded by a piss poor public image. As for me, if a fellow rider needs assistance from me he's got it, no matter what he rides, and I'll offer it without snickering about his bike, his skills, or his clothing.

Because...they make it sooooo easy! LOL. it's like wearing bullseyes...dozens of bullseyes. I can't even find a Spyder shirt I like anywhere. But when I do, I'm wearin' that sucker EVERY time I ride.

You sound just like one of the guys you are ragging on.

I WILL BACK THAT UP 120 PERCENT, A brother/ sister in need REGARDLESS OF THE RIDE will get my assistance and hopefully the same would go the other way. REMEMBER IT IS THAT YOU RIDE, and not what you ride. I have even stopped in my truck to offer assistance to NON SPYDER RIDERS, who really gives a S***. Just my 2 cents worth.
