• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Tire search - what is everyone going to these days?

Gotta dump these Kendas off the new bike, however, my searches are not very productive in locating either another brand or purchase site for the front tires.

Where is everyone going to these days?

I know. Tried that. Had Vredestein on my previous Spyder. Loved them. Just cannot seem to locate them now in the size or anyone selling them . Right now, I’ll put anything else on the bike except Kendas. 1500 miles and sick of them already. Been back to dealership twice on the balance issue without any real positive results. Just want to get rid of them based on previous experience with Kendas and dealers.

We have been selling, stocking, installing and riding the quality Yokohama tires for Spyders for over a decade now. Just great tires and MADE IN USA.

Easy to find in the US and in Canada.

Will 165/60/15’s fit in place of 165/55/15 without any rub issues?
A Vredestein 165/60R15 fit without issues on my F3S. Not so on my 2022 RT S2S. After both shimming the fenders and going to lower profile screws, I still get light rubbing from the Vredestein. None what so ever on either the Kenda Kanine or Achilles 165/55R15 car tire. At some point I may try the new kenda tires for the 2025 RT/F3 Spyders, but not there yet.

In Sept. of last year I ordered online a pair of Vredestein Quatrac 165/60 R15 from Tire Rack and, with prior arrangement, had them shipped to the dealership where I purchased the roadster in 2014. When the tires arrived at the dealership, they called me and I took a morning to ride there and had them installed. Nowhere in my ordering did anyone ask me what kind of vehicle I was purchasing them for.

I just installed Vredestein 165/60R15 fit without issues on my 2022 Spyder RTL

I just had America's Tire install new Vredestein 165/60R15 without issues on my 2022 RTL. I removed the front tires/wheels and delivered them & the new tires. After they were done, they asked what they went on because the 3-lug pattern puzzled them. Only problem was that they were too small to fit on their balancer - So I had them put 4 oz of balancing beads in the tires. (They had to break open a 12 oz bag & divide it into 3 parts). I’ve had great experience with the balancing beads on my truck & cars. Cost me $52.00.

My last Vredestein tires were the older Quatrac 5 pattern, not the newer Quatrac pattern. I'm tempted to try the new style, but I will be $242 (with tax) ****** if they were to rub. We shall see...

Same lug pattern & wheel size on the Smart Car. We are still trying to get the torque pattern for 3 lugs!
