Tire pressure recommendations

Hey all

I searched first to see if there was a consensus on tire pressure recommendations but it didn't seem conclusive.

I've already jacked up the front and rear pre-load springs to max settings and would assume tire pressure is the next setting to mess with.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks, Tony

I've gone with the 20 / 30 that others have mentioned on the forums. I like the handling better and I haven't noticed and tire wear problems with the increased pressures.

:agree: Changed to 20/30 about the third day we had the Spyder. made it so good we never did bump up the spring settings.

I installed Kisan Tire monitors in Nancy's Spyder. Running the tires at . Front 20 psi and 30 psi rear. There is a 80 de differance in tire temps. 80 De lower at an outside temp of 90 de . Than running tire preasure at factory suggested preasures. Plus a lot less tire roll over the beads.

I am at 25/30 with the original front tires looking good at 20,000 miles.

How could BRP get the tire pressure recommendation so wrong? They don't even recommend a range. There must be a reason...

If you look at pg. 79 of your owners manual you will find cold tire pressure recomendations for the Spyder. They are 15 psi. + or - 2 for the front and 28 psi. + or - 2 for the rear.
