• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

'More stable and easier to handle than traditional two-wheelers, they are catching on with riders who because of infirmity, inexperience, or age are unwilling or unable to throw their leg over the saddle of a regular motorcycle.'

Good article, but they still forget to include those who simply like riding the Spyder with those who do it it because they can't or won't do two-wheelers.

Gotta love the comments at the bottom of the page.

Would this be about right?

There's a few groups of riders.
1. The old die-hards that rode everyday, living the motorcycle life and don't care what you ride, as long as you are riding. They are the real bikers.
2. The crotch-rocket types that are similar to #1.
3. The new breed of white collar riders that only started riding because HD's were the "new thing to own" and they had to keep up with the Joneses. They may have go over to other brands, but the feeling is the same.
4. Everyone else.

Spyders are the new invasion into the realm. #1 and #2 could careless, or even ride them now. #3 feels threatened with this new thing. They denounce it like they used to denounce the motorcycles that they now ride.

A former boss eventually got a Harley and from then on it was Harley shirts everyday - when he could get away with it, and then came the tattoos. It's like an obsession and anything that might threaten that obsession is a bad thing.
