• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

This thread keeps disappearing from any of the listings.

I have been actively using this thread; http://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/...ow-do-I-know-the-DPS-is-working&highlight=dps

Unless someone posts to it after I do, I cannot find it anywhere. Obviously it's not in the 'New Posts' list, but it's also not in my 'subscribed' list either, even though when I try to put it there, it says it's already there.

By the way, this is the forum category we should all be using for these ongoing issues we're having, I think.

Yep, that's the only way I can find it, too.

I think, Anthony, that the complaints with being unable to easily follow an active thread that people are interested in is quite valid.

I would be in favor of returning to the way the 'New Posts' used to display the most recent posts, regardless of whether it is 'new to me'.

UP, since you posted in "Spyder GS/RS- Sport" click on Forum then click on Spyder GS/RS- Sport and it shows up as the first/most recent post.

Its NOT a new post if you read it already, so why would it ever be listed under New Posts or Whats New?

Vbulletin made the changes they did, it was not something that is desired & unfortunately, its the way this version works.

I understand the logic of what you are saying. But, it used to function very differently in that it was the day's posts, not what was new to the viewer and that is what is throwing people off.

Given that VBulletin has made the change and you have no control over it, do you have any suggestions for being able to view all of today's posts, whether they are 'new' to the viewer or not?

Also, it doesn't explain why this thread doesn't show up in my subscribed threads either!

Ultimately, you are precisely correct.
But that march of progress has also led us to $500 car keys.

Today's posts link has always been there, it was under the "Quick Links" drop menu, i moved it yesterday to its neighbor New Posts.

Easier to just click on view your threads & post link in the navbar, less clicking.

Show me a program update & I'll show several new problem issues--from the software or users :-) It happens on ALL systems. You want my wolf to eat it along with the groundhog ?? :-)
