• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

This might slow or stop oil to air box

The fuel system screen is the most expensive part and it is $2.84. This is the screen that allows fuel and fumes to pass through but water and other liquids don't get through because the molecules are to large. /Ken

Why not just put a few pieces of the fuel screen in the tube and forget the foam?

That might be worth a try...

Why not just put a few pieces of the fuel screen in the tube and forget the foam?

Main reason I used the foam was to keep the little round disks of screen sitting flat against the black tube I put in each end. I also use the foam as an extra preventative measure... to make sure no oil gets up to the top of the tube... just fumes. In country terms...Rather use to much than two little filter medias.

I just don't like cleaning an oil mess.

Ken,

I started a new thread in the Shop Talk forum, and was directed to this thread. Do you still sell the crankcase vent tube setup? Is yours still working perfectly? You said $5 or $6 earlier in this thread. Thanks.
