They don’t do repairs, at the price these things cost? That’s a bit rough.
So far the SRL2 units in our Shoei helmets have survived torrential rain and about 5 years of use. I think the units that mount into your helmets seem a little more weather resistant. Next year, when our helmets expire, we will see what we do.
Unfortunately, the new Shoei GT Air 3 and Neotec 3 editions of their helmets have a visor lock that keeps it closed which will really annoy me, so we may have to switch brands, but whatever we get, I’m going to make sure the comms mounts into the helmet rather than being external and more out in the elements.
