• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. My 2024 RT has developed a Vibration at 2700 rpm - anyone else? Any ideas of cause? Fixes?

I purchased a new 2024 Spyder RT in October 2024. At this time it has 2700 miles and will be going in this spring for the 3000 mile oil change and check over. The reason I am writing is because I seemed to have developed a vibration whenever I hit 2700 RPM. It goes away as RPM increase. Just wondering if anyone has had this happen to them or if anyone can say what might cause this. I have been riding in weather that is around 40 degrees so thinking it might have something to do with it. I didn't have the vibration when weather was warmer. Wondering if it might go away when weather warms but will probably have it in for the service about the time weather gets warmer. Any comments will be appreciated thanks.

What type of a vibration are you experiencing? Where are you feeling/seeing it? Are you thinking it is engine related or tire/suspension related?

Does in happen in more than one gear at that same RPM. The 1330 engine is happier at RPMs of 3000-3200 plus. If you are pulling a little hard at 2700 that might be the issue. More of a shudder than a vibration.

I'd do the easiest thing first. You're under warranty, talk to your dealer and/or take it in.
That would work for sure if they have a clue and want to help, we all hope they do! If it was me, I would rub my hand around the front tires and see if you have any cupping going on, then see if you think the drive belt may be a little looser than it should be, it would be great if you had a Kricket gauge!! You could have a tire out of balance a small bit also. You still have the stock tire I would assume? Anyway, that's where I would go if I didn't have a warranty, but you don't have that to worry about do you. Good luck, let us know what you find out!!!
