There is a NEW luggage rack available for your Spyder!

Here is a sneek peek of our new luggage rack. This rack is super easy to install, just take off the rear plastic tailcone, and slide our rack C-channel up into the end of the frame, then 2 screws secure it. Then the rack bolts to the C-channel with a couple screws and you are done! It has a really strong C-channel that slides up into the end of the Spyder frame backbone, making it super secure and sturdy. This rack also has a passenger backrest which I will post as soon as I get one in my hands. Our rack is totally usable with the passenger backrest in place. It will also have a larger rack plate and you can also run it without the plate for a minimally intrusive installation so that gives you 3 basic size options, in town, weekender, and cross country! There will also be a GIVI trunk mounting plate available.

Okay, I am very interested in this for a Givi Topcase. I know I can use the BPR rack with modifications to the Givi Monokey rack system and the BRP rack is $200.00. Do you have any price ranges for your rack to be used with the Givi Topcase? I want to mount the V46 I think. Thanks for your info in advance.

The BRP rack is $499.99 unless you know of a better deal somewhere. :dontknow:

Nah, Brian just kept telling me the rack was $200 so I never checked. $499.00 for just that rack, Ouch.

It will be a few weeks before production racks are available. I am working on the pricing and will have that in a day or so.

Nah, Brian just kept telling me the rack was $200 so I never checked. $499.00 for just that rack, Ouch.

I have no excuse but I was just relaying what I heard from someone else, that the rack was around $200 and the backrest was around $400. They must have had the prices switched around.

I just went to the website under products and the rear sport rack is listed at $399 and the backrest is $249 I would get a discount of 10% discount from my dealer which brings me to $359.10 for the rack. Then I still have to modify the rack of the Givi Topcase to work with it. This is becoming an expensive project. I am anxiously awaiting Kewlmetals price on their rear rack. Or hey Magic Man, if you want to venture out into this department I would love to work with you on this too. LOL
