There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. The Ultimate Ride Adventure

Bob, the ride on Bermuda was incredible. Take the dragon an make it 60 miles long and add ocean, beaches and island scenery to it and you have Bermuda. The whole ride was a parade as the island has a 150cc restriction on it (so scooters only) and the only time anything bigger than that can ride there is by permit during parades and when ETA comes to town. People had never seen Spyders there before and the people were just as amazing as the ride. They would do anything for you, and they sure came out to greet us. The name of the motorcycle group that helped out was called the Bermuda Longriders I think and led by the police.

I wasn't aware that there was a cc restriction in place... very interesting!! Glad to hear that you guys were treated so well! :2thumbs:

Thanks Tim for giving everyone a teaser of how much fun we all had. Also to let everyone one know that, that was the owner of ETA playing the piano onboard while we were waiting for the captain and his crew to come for our group photo. The guy is good and has it together when it come to these rides.

Ron,......does that ramp have something at tire level ( guides on both sides ) to keep the fenders from hitting the hand rails ? ? ?.......If not ,putting some on would be a NO BRAINER and Big Safety factor.............IMHO.....Mike

There is a 2" rise at the bottom, but you would hit the railing with the fender before the tire would hit it . You must trust the person at the top or bottom of the ramp completely and watch which way his finger would lean and then correct. I never hit the railing but I know of one that did.

As I said above putting down some " guides " would be cheap and easy and save a lot of grief when someone hits the railing........which apparently they already have.....Maybe they will accept this suggestion if you hint that it could prevent possible " law suits ":roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:......Mike

Sorry Mike, but this gangplank is not just designed for spyders and even if it were, there are now a few different wheelbases, so what you made for one would not be right for another. There are risks in life and the choice is yours to travel the gangplank as is the road and you have signed off on them. I traveled the gangplank 8 times without a problem and if it were have touched one of the aluminum uprights for the railing with my wheel or fender, don't think anything would have happened.

Ron, what I'm talking about is a 2 in. X 2 in. piece of wood placed on the inside edge of the RAMP at the base closest to the rail that would prevent the tire from getting close enough for the fender to contact the rail.........similar to what they have in a car wash...........This wouldn't obstruct any other use of the ramp....................Of course innovation usually rejected by those who didn't think of it FIRST..... :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack: .....Mike

I see your point Mike, but I feel it just wouldn't happen and what if you got a splinter in your sidewall. If they had to do anything special for the Spyders, they just wouldn't have them and that is why RTs are not able to board. I have seen the operation in progress and it is a hurry up and wait procedure. The door in the side of the ship is open before the ship is even docked with the gangplank hanging out there. Now there is 20 2" lines that secure the ship to the pier and when a couple of lines are secure we are headed down the ramp one right after the next as they want us off and out of the way as they have over 3000 guess that also want to get to the islands for some fun in the sun.

SPLINTER , you are kidding right :yikes:...:roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:......and the wood was not my first choice.... a 2 inch aluminum or metal pipe would be ....just something to direct the tire away from the railing........Buuuuuuuuut it sounds like they don't really give a rat's a** about it.........Glad I missed out :gaah:,:roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:........Mike

I am glad that I did not because NO RTS would not fit on the gangplank. Deanna777

They used the ramp that they had; perhaps they've had little interest shown in the past for Trikes on these cruises... If interest continues to grow; perhaps they'll inest in a ramp that's maybe a foot wider...
(We'd have given more consideration to the trip; if my bike would have fit!)

Lets just say only a few Spyders have been lucky enough to ride here........ Just Beautiful !!!!!!! I took this photo green with envy as they were coming back to the ship.......

We dont control any of the ramps stuff. The ship is allowing us to use it. Maybe when they use the celebrity it might be bigger then we can all go on and have fun and GET ALONG. Ron also came up with a way that could have made the rt fit but nobody wanted to try using the mag wheels and taking the fenders off. I dont blame you cause that seems like a hassle. :yikes:

It was a blast and cant wait till we can go again. Even after all of the stress of getting the bikes moved around and customs. Would be cool to get the entire spyder family aboard the ship.
