The R button, and how the 2024+ models select reverse gear - Do you think the function of the R and BRP Connect buttons be swapped?

The neat feature that got rid of the R button on 2024+ units got me thinking!

I have never used the BRP Connect button of either of my 2018. I would be cool if the function of the R and BRP connect button could be swapped.

That would make it much easier to shift to reverse single handed. I know these are can bus switches. Maybe BUDS 2 would allow swapping their functions or a physical circuit mod in the MSL? Monkeying around in the very expensive left hand switch module presents quite a bit of risk however. Maybe some has a failed left hand switch and could study how the R and BRP connect buttons are wired etc. Maybe take some pictures and post them.

As they are both "momentary" switches, I guess it would be possible. It would be best to practice on a spare LH switch pack. Also on the 2024 and higher models, the BRP Connect button is now the headlight switch, with High, Low, and Flash-to-pass functions.
