The Ohmyachingassride 2012 in da UP

Okay last post about Cruising UP ride, or the renamed "ohmyachingassride" or the "ohmyhotachingassride"

Started out on Friday with some good friends we haven't been able to ride with for far too long.

we decided to ride up to "da UP" by way of US 10 to m-115

Then up to M-66

to 131 to 31

We learned alot too! like there really is an Oden.

And every hour is rush hour in Petosky.

and Devls SpYder sucks as much gas as my Valkyrie.

I learned that crossing the bridge in calm weather on the concrete is alot easier then in wind and rain on the grate.

I learned the St. Ignace is one of the most beautiful cities in Michigan.

I learned that The Village Inn is one of the best places to stay and the Balcony rooms are a special treat.

I learned that those Star line Captains drive the "Hell" out of those boats.

and I learned NOT to go to Java Joes for breakfast on a weekend.

I learned I-75 from St.Ignace to the Soo can be a fun road.

I learned that I never get tired of going to this lighthouse.

or riding up this road.

I learned they make good pie in Paradise.

and Lake Superior is beautiful every time I see it.

I learned that Devl is a GREAT person to follow on the road.

I learned M-28 from Newberry to Seney is a great road.

But m-77 from Seney to Grand Marais is longer then it looks.

I also learned that there is a brewing company at the end of the road. (and not to buy gas there)

And I learned that this post is taking alot longer then I thought so I will make a follow up later.

Phase TWO!

I learned that people love to paddle around in little boats at the beach.

and its cool watching them with friends.

I learned H-58 really does deserve the name "Hurricane Highway"

and it's because the Hurricane river crosses it!

and the bridge has real high stone walls.

I learned I never get tired of posting pictures of this!

I learned that Munising has the most beautiful bay in Michigan!

I also learned that The Dog Patch has a great Sunday breakfast buffet.

I learned h-13 really is a good road to ride.

and I learned that Lake Michigan is also reaaly beautiful and I never get tired of riding this road.

I learned that the Chicago to Mackinaw boat race is a REALLY big deal!

I learned I-75 going 75-80mph in 90* heat is still hot!

and I learned that any day riding with friends is great no matter how hot or cold it is. Thanks Joe and Pam and Devl for allowing me to be a part od a great 4 days.

This is my story and I'm sticking with it.

and I have my EYE on you!
