Perhaps you can answer this question:

Will SENA replace their comm system should rain/moisture damage them in any way ??

I read/heard somewhere that they do NOT, and you're basically SOL. That is the main reason why I went with the Cardo Freecom 4 Plus. I don't regret my purchase, because the Cardo is incredibly easy to use and with those AWESOME JBL speakers that provide such clear sounds, have exceeded all my expectations.

These speakers are waaaay better (louder & clearer) than the skinny speakers from the 20S. Just make sure they don't protrude past the ear pads or a crash could cause a jaw injury (I fractured the tip (pivot) of the jawbone when attacked by a Kamikaze forest rat (deer)). I have since cut out some of the Styrofoam behind the speakers to set them in deeper.

I can't answer the warranty question, but, I can say my 20 EVO's have been in a BUNCH of rain storms. No problems yet.

I have been a SENA STAR Dealer / Distributor for 18 years and have never, not even 1 time had SENA refuse to take care of a warranty of a defective product or even operator error. I have had my own headsets get almost submerged while riding in Florida downpour and other bad rain and never had them quit on me
If you get your stuff from me you will always be taken care of.

It's funny.... Some of the folks here are almost saying that they want to SCUBA DIVE with their helmets on with
the SENA headsets installed.... I have been caught in very severe tropical type rain with mine and NEVER had trouble
with them, you have to use a little common sense, if it is that wet outside maybe you should not be out riding in it...
I have blue tooth hearing aids that say they are waterproof but I would not take a shower with them on....

I have had My 50R that I got from Dave out in the rain with no issues and it even survived me being thrown over my handlebars and into a curb.

The force I hit with was enough to crack the back of the helmet against the curb, Transferred the 50r over to my new helmet and still works like a champ almost a year later.
