• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

The most pleasent Spyder Shoping Experience

I have owned three new Can Am Spyder Roadsters and either purchased and or traded them with the same dealership in the east central Missouri area near St. Louis, where I have other options. This year I was excited about the new 2014 SE6 with the increased fuel tank capacity that I simply had to trade my 2011 Spyder RT-S with thousands of dollars in custom modifications. This bike has carried me about 30,000 miles all over the U.S.A. from shore to shore.

Thanks to Rick the owner of Cowtown U.S.A. in Cuba Missouri and his very confident professional staff I am now enjoying my custom one of a kind design 2014 Can Am Spyder RT Limited. I am an enthusiastic shopper and spend my money intelligently; quality work and professional competence in a dealership is important to me and that is exactly what you will find at Cowtown U.S.A. I hope to buy my next Spyder from these people…

Another MO Spyder dealer showing the right way to treat customers. I bought from Midwest Motor Sports in Farmington (2011 RS-S). And have visit St. Louis Powersports in Fenton. Another pleasant experience.

My Dealer is Pit Bull PowerSports in Springfield MO. And I just bought my second Spyder from them because of the way they treat me and my Spyder.:thumbup:

Seems like Missouri has good dealers.

it does make life easier when you are near a competent dealer

here in Florida we have Central Florida Powersports in Kissimmee - they really care about their customers

It's always a pleasure

When your selling or servicing dealer is accommodating, fair, and a reputable agent it is always a pleasure to do business with them. It leaves you feeling good inside. My 2011 is well out of warranty and had plenty of freebie types of technical services. A month or two back they had to take the DPS out under the extended warranty. Since that was done I have been plaqued wth a clunk while crossing what they refer to as " modified Chicago curb." Yesterday I took it in for the service manager to ride it. He found that he could make it clunk sitting still. He asked me if I could come back later and I could. Estimated it should take about an hour to really isolate the part. Two hours later they handed me the ignition key and said it was the "Heims joints" sliding on the ends of the sway bar. A little lubricant and we were good to go.

When I asked how much I got a big surprise N/C. It is always a pleasure to deal with a good dealer that appreciates his customers.

Good for you Professor Hunt, but you've ridden 30,000 miles on a Spyder and this is your first post...where ya been?
