• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

the more confident I'm getting. Practiced around the neighborhood all week. Gaining better clutch and throttle control. I even took her on the main road for 3 blocks. Spyders definitely get the looks! Have to get some nice riding gear to go with this fabulous bike :D!

Getting there...

You will be a pro in no time. Getting there is half the fun. Enjoy it relax and be safe...:ohyea::ohyea:

That is my reaction every time someone ask me "how do you like your spyder? I tell them that I have owned it since September 26, 2014. With the exception of the first 2 hours of ownership (when I thought I had made a dreadful mistake), I have loved it more each and every time that I have ridden it. Now that the days are getting longer and warmer, I hope to really start enjoying this machine.

It's always the first few hours when you question your decision then as you get more comfortable with it you enjoy it more and more

You are on the way to getting over the famous "learning curve." It is fun owning and driving a :spyder2:. Sometimes, they even make you feel like a rock star.:yes:

Worst Decision I Ever Made...

Is exactly what I thought the first few hundred miles I rode my new Spyder. It wasn't that I just hated it (which I did) but it SCARED me! After 30 some years of riding, I was surprised how much trouble my new Spyder was giving me.

Fortunately, I had too much invested to give up on it. Of course, it didn't take all that long before I realized the problem was me, not the Spyder.

Count me in as a card carrying SpyderLover! :ohyea:

I loved my 2012 RS from the moment my butt cheeks 1st touched the seat!

Though I have since upgraded to a BRP Comfort Seat. It's not day vs night difference really, but it certainly looks a lot better than the OEM seat did.
