• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

The latest survey from BRP was pretty interesting

I'm surprised they didnt ask Ann if she thought she had sufficient time to get off the inferno.

Got the survey. Second question was, "You or anyone in your family ever worked for someone who sold or serviced motorcycles?" My wife sold H/D t-shirts, helmets, boots, etc. 12-15 yrs ago so I said, "Yes." The next screen said, "You have completed the survey." Wow, that was easy! :D

Survey

They asked some really different questions on this one. Like how many problems have you had and how many trips to the dealer did it take to correct them. One was something like how do you feel about recalls. Another couple were about modifications and there were some asking if you go on motorcycle forums, Spyder forums, manufactureres websites. Do you ride with Spyder groups other motorcycle groups.

Seems to me like they are concerned about their reputation after the recall. As they should be. :yikes:

I just did the survey, not a good one for BRP since my ST-S still running hot after the dealer use the BANDAID, they need to do better job addressing the ST-S issues......

I'd write "Only one major problem, but it never came back..." and find a way to attach a photo of the charred remains...

Amazing! At least you've got someone there concerned with taking care of business. I got a survey card also; when I saw it wasn't from Can Am, I figured it was some shyster BS; trying to get my e mail addie so they could bury me with unsolicited crap. Tore it up and threw it away.

Here is the way to contact them [email protected] There was a PIN number to put in but if you wanted to do it sure they would email you another

Just got

I have gotten the surveys before (for vehicles)...just answered them and didn't pay that much attention. Just got this one for the latest work I had done on Ms Spyder at Clem's in Enumclaw,WA

The survey company is J.D. Power......now who hires them BRP? or dealer? I do not know....these are similar to surveys I have received for vehicles when I had service work done. Anyone have FACTS (no WAG's or SWAG's)...about who, how, and what the results do? Thanks.

Ditto that Flanker. I threw it out too. Call me suspicious but I would never respond to a survey from a third party. This particular one had scam written all over it.

Agreed. I started the survey, but it smelled really bad when questions answered a certain way required narrative to back up the answer or it would not let you move forward. If it is a survey that feeds the BRP machine, it was designed as well as the Spyder. I'll never tell a 3rd party everything. That goes straight to Can-Am so nothing is lost in the translation.

I have a 2012 and have received a card inviting me to take the survey. I did have a defective lower ball joint on the right side, which was repaired under warranty. Maybe they are sending them to people whom have had to have warranty work done :dontknow:. I know the dealer I was going to was always trying to rake me over the coals, but I found away around that. His son is the new BRP tech for the shop, and I go directly to him. I get strait answers, good work done, and fair pricing. Don't know if I should tell the dealer or not. On one hand I am sure his son is doing business in a way he never would; on the other, his son is most likely saving his service business from an epic failure.

Guess the answer to that one is a big one that you will have to decide on your own. If it were me, I would ask to speak to him in private and then just unload on him. Explains up front your goals. He may even know he is a problem to the būsinessd!
