There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The latest survey from BRP was pretty interesting

They asked some really different questions on this one. Like how many problems have you had and how many trips to the dealer did it take to correct them. One was something like how do you feel about recalls. Another couple were about modifications and there were some asking if you go on motorcycle forums, Spyder forums, manufactureres websites. Do you ride with Spyder groups other motorcycle groups.

Seems to me like they are concerned about their reputation after the recall. As they should be. :yikes:

Really..!!!

are they mailing them out to all customers or only the ones with problems.? Have never gotten a survey from them. But agree they may be realizing their situation with customer satisfaction and dealers ability to deal with issues. Hope they take heed it can only help..:lecturef_smilie:

These actually come from motorcyclesurveys.com I have gotten 3 or 4 survey requests from them since first purchasing a Spyder in 2010. The other ones had very general questions and could just as easily been a survey for a vacuum cleaner as for a motorcycle. This one was pretty different from the others.

I at first thought that they were just targeting owners of 2013s but the postcard says "Are you the owner of a 2011, 2012 or 2013 model year 2-wheel or 3-wheel motorcycle. (That is funny since BRP never refers to a Spyder as a motortcycle but as a Roadster)

I hope they get some good feedback and put it to good use.

I just remembered that one of the questions was what is your height and weight. They had a box for "None of your business" haha

I have a 2012 and have received a card inviting me to take the survey. I did have a defective lower ball joint on the right side, which was repaired under warranty. Maybe they are sending them to people whom have had to have warranty work done :dontknow:. I know the dealer I was going to was always trying to rake me over the coals, but I found away around that. His son is the new BRP tech for the shop, and I go directly to him. I get strait answers, good work done, and fair pricing. Don't know if I should tell the dealer or not. On one hand I am sure his son is doing business in a way he never would; on the other, his son is most likely saving his service business from an epic failure.

Amazing! At least you've got someone there concerned with taking care of business. I got a survey card also; when I saw it wasn't from Can Am, I figured it was some shyster BS; trying to get my e mail addie so they could bury me with unsolicited crap. Tore it up and threw it away.

I have never received any survey....I was the last person to get the recall letter.....I won't take it personal......would like to be a part of this last survey

Survey card

I'm not sure but I thought those survey cards are usually sent to those who just purchased something from them. At least in my case it was exactly that, because I even received an e-mail from my dealer's sales person, who told me that it was coming to me and politely asked to be nice to them. I don't rmember the exact words, but it was something like this, "Any of your answers that are below 9 will be counted against our dealeraship."

2013-BRP Survey

I got surveyed via telephone call. We spent about 20+ minutes on the telephone. Took about half that time to answer BRP's questions and about the same amount of time to awns we my comments and several ideas.

The range of BRP questions were from parts, service, quality of product to what I thought needed improvement to adds an deletes.

Overall I thought it went quite well and it left me feeling that BRP does want a better buisness atmosphere for all.

I have a "old" 2010 so I did not get a survery this time. I seem to remember one when I first got the RT. I also got a letter from the dealer that said, if I could answer in the "top section", would I please tallk to them first. I have had nop real problems with either the RT or the 2008 GS/RS.
I do wonder about quality control in general for all makers. Rider mag this month talks about a thosand mile ride for a "new" bike. Both turn signals dangling loose, no tool kit, several loose bolts and a factory after exhust kit had a weld break off. Heat issue also came up.
I do wish there were more good dealers around. Tell all your friends to buy and support the good dealers we already have.
Just old me

Charlyne, does your mailman seem lazy? Could he/she be stashing your mail someplace and not delivering it to you?

That survey is sent after you have your Spyder in for service and has specific questions about your service appointment. This one is different from that. This is not the first survey of this type that I have received but it is the first time they have asked about Social Media and recalls. Like Stallion143 said, it was a strange survey.

Flanker, they don't come from BRP but are definitely done on their behalf. Next time don't throw it away.

No survey on Spyder but have for vehicles

I have never gotten a survey request on Ms Spyder...but have on vehicles...always after I had them in for service, of any kind...When I asked dealership on truck...he said that GM contracts with independent survey company's BUT that GM takes the responses seriously and if I would score them low they would get a direct call from GM and when more than one it affects there bottom line i.e. $$$$ incentives received from GM.
My first thought, without any proof, is BRP is doing a similar outreach to their customers. If I am correct I consider it a very positive move on BRP's part...

I got the survey card. I told them how thrilled I am with the Spyder. I also told them about the dealer I bought it from--the one who charged me for the 600 mile oil change, but did not change the oil. I love the Spyder. I go to a new dealer now.

I recieved my survey card about 2 weeks ago and did it couple days later. I Didn't realize it was from BRP though.

I usually get and fill out surveys from BRP. Have not seen the one that you speak of here though. Latest purchase, a new 2011 RT in July of 2012. Serviced each of the RT's in June or so of this riding season.
